Three Oatmeal Milk & Honey soap bars on a black background

Using natural bath and body products can have several benefits for your skin. Unlike commercial products that are loaded with chemicals, natural products are made with ingredients that are gentle and nourishing for your skin. Here are some benefits of using natural bath and body products:

  1. Nourishing: Natural products are made with ingredients like oils, plant extracts, and essential oils that are rich in vitamins and minerals. These ingredients work together to nourish your skin and keep it healthy. Since the ingredients listed on a natural product are more cut and dry, you can easily avoid the "bad" stuff.

  2. Gentle: Natural products are gentle on your skin and are less likely to cause irritation or allergic reactions. They are also free of harsh chemicals like sulfates, parabens, and synthetic fragrances that can damage your skin in the long run.

  3. Environmentally friendly: Natural products are often made with sustainable and eco-friendly ingredients that are better for the environment. They also come in biodegradable packaging that is easy to dispose of.

  4. Customizable: Natural products can be customized to meet your specific skin needs. For example, if you have dry skin, you can use a product that is rich in moisturizing ingredients like shea butter and coconut oil. Shopping from a small batch maker could be your ticket to customizable bath products! I make all of my products myself and routinely swap out ingredients at my customer's request due to scent avoidance or allergic reactions. You're not going to get that in a commercially made product!

  5. Better for your overall health: Using natural products can be better for your overall health as they do not contain harmful chemicals that can be absorbed into your bloodstream. This can reduce your risk of developing health problems in the long run.

In conclusion, using natural bath and body products can have several benefits for your skin. They are nourishing, gentle, environmentally friendly, customizable, and better for your overall health. By switching to natural products, you can give your skin the love and care it deserves.

Field of French Lavender

Lavender is one of the most versatile plants on the planet. And, I mean, if you've ever smelled it, you know it's magical. It has a sweet, floral scent that's calming and soothing to the body. Lavender essential oil can be used for many things: cooking and eating; cleaning your home; making DIY products; adding fragrance to your life — anything you want! You can even use lavender essential oil topically on the skin or breathe in its fragrant aroma from an essential oil diffuser necklace (like this one).

Uses in the Kitchen

Lavender is a popular herb that can be used in many different ways. Whether you're looking to use it in your cooking, baking, or cocktails, lavender is an ingredient that has a variety of culinary uses.

  • Cooking with Lavender: If you're looking for a way to incorporate this herb into your everyday meal plan, try adding it to the following recipes:

  • Tea - Add dried lavender buds and leaves to boiling water for an aromatic cup of tea. You can also sprinkle ground lavender on top of the finished product for even more flavor!

  • Baking - For example, add fresh or dried buds as part of the batter for lemon poppy seed muffins or chocolate chip cookies; just remember that too much will make them bitter so don't go overboard unless you really love bitter tastes! Another idea would be using iced tea instead of milk when making cakes or breads; this will give them both color and flavor while keeping them moist inside while they cook through completely before removing them from the pan (don't let anyone tell otherwise!).

  • Using Lavender In Cocktails: When it comes time for cocktail hour at home with friends over dinner party weekend get-togethers then why not try out some new ones with our favorite herb? Here are some ideas:

Benefits of Lavender Essential Oil

The benefits of lavender essential oil can be experienced in a variety of ways. It is known to promote relaxation and relieve tension, which can be helpful when you're experiencing headaches and stress. Lavender also helps improve sleep quality, focus, concentration, moods, skin health, and digestion. Additionally, this oil has been shown to reduce anxiety levels by up to 65%.

The most extensive research on lavender is related to its ability to affect the nervous system through its chemical constituents such as linalool (which has sedative properties), alpha-pinene (an anti-inflammatory agent), and limonene (which may have antibacterial effects).

Though there isn't much scientific data yet available on lavender's effect on aging specifically or how it might impact brown spots on our skin or wrinkles around our eyes—it's safe for use topically if applied carefully with a carrier oil like jojoba oil before bedtime or rubbing directly onto your temples when experiencing headaches or other pains associated with overstimulation from too much activity throughout daily life activities like working hard at work all day long without taking proper breaks away from office desk areas every hour so that they won't start feeling tired throughout afternoon hours where they'd usually go home at around 5pm but instead stayed at work until 7pm because there were too many deadlines coming up within next few weeks ahead due date pressures so therefore had no choice but stay late hours doing extra work overtime without paychecks involved whatsoever but did receive good reviews after finishing up all tasks successfully completed before leaving office today without any worries about getting fired due having missed deadline dates set forth earlier today while working overtime hours tonight after dinner break

Uses in Handmade Products

Lavender is a great ingredient in handmade products. It's a natural preservative, antimicrobial, antiseptic, and antiseptic. It can be used to help keep your homemade products fresh and free of mold or bacteria.

To use lavender in your products:

  • Add one part essential oil for every two parts base oil (e.g., if you want to make a 5% lavender-infused lotion blend then blend 1 teaspoon of carrier oil with 0.5 teaspoons of essential oil).

  • To preserve oils for long periods of time add 4 drops of lavender essential oils per ounce of bottle size needed for the desired amount of product (e.g., if it takes up to 1 oz of the product then add 8 drops)

I hope this article has given you some ideas for using lavender in your daily life. Lavender is a wonderful herb that can help improve your mood, and sleep quality and even ease stress. If you are looking for natural ways to deal with these issues, then I recommend trying out some of the tips above or checking out some of my popular lavender-scented items!

Introduction

Are you interested in wholesale handcrafting, but not sure it's the right move for your business? Or are you just starting out and looking for some advice on how to get started? This article will help answer all of those questions.

The Pros and Cons of Wholesaling Handmade Products

Wholesaling handmade items can be a good way to get your products in front of more people. However, it’s not always the right choice for every business.

First and foremost, if you have an established brand with a loyal following, wholesale is probably not the best move for you. You have loyal customers who love your designs and support your shop. The last thing you want to do is give away part of the profits from their purchases!

Secondly, if there are already many sellers offering similar goods in this category on Etsy or other platforms, then it may be difficult to find resellers for your products—and even harder to compete with them when they offer lower prices than yours!

Thirdly, there are several partners available (i.e. Faire, Abound, etc) that can help you wholesale your items to retailers you'd never be able to contact. However, it must be kept in mind that these partners will take their cut of your sales. If your need to keep every dime for yourself, then this might not be a good option for you. I've been using Faire for nearly seven months now, and it has been a huge boon for my business! Whatever cut Faire may take is outweighed by the number of orders I have received, as well as the large order quantity that my buyers request from me.

How to Wholesale Handmade Products

  • Focus on quality.

  • Do your research.

  • Build a brand.

  • Make sure you have a reliable supplier, manufacturer, and shipping company.

  • Make sure you have a reliable payment processor

Learning Handmade Product Marketing

You need to be able to market your products. Marketing is not a one-time event, and it's not something that you can do alone. It requires a long-term commitment from you and your business partners. And as the market changes, so do your marketing strategies—so prepare yourself for endless learning and improvement.

While there are many ways to market handmade items, there are no perfect solutions or universal truths when it comes to online marketing strategies. You should experiment with different types of content until you find what resonates best with your target audience (and even then, continue experimenting).

While wholesale may be a great way to increase the number of sales you make, it should not be the focus of your business. It can take a lot of time and money to get a buyer to place an order, so it's best to ensure they will place repeat orders before you jump in wholeheartedly.

Wholesale is a great way to increase the quantity of sales you make, but it is not the focus of your business. You should consider wholesale if you want to increase your income and get your items in front of more people, but keep in mind that it does take a lot of time and money to get a buyer to place an order.

If you decide that wholesale is right for you, look for wholesalers who have unique stories or products that complement yours. Avoid wholesalers that have too many similar items because they won't be able to stand out when selling on eBay or Amazon Marketplace (or even Etsy). If possible, choose a product with good margins so there's room left after paying costs like marketing materials and shipping fees (which will decrease as volume increases).

Conclusion

The decision to wholesale handmade items is one that shouldn’t be taken lightly, and it’s certainly not something to rush into. Wholesaling does help you make more sales and bring in more revenue, but it also requires a lot of work. If you want to get started wholesaling handmade products, then do your research first so that you know what kind of buyer will be interested in buying from you. Once you find those buyers, start contacting them about placing orders so that when they do place an order with you they won't have any problems doing so again in future months
